Soft Toy Sanctuary is a UK-based online store offering previously loved and rescued soft toys that are rehomed to new owners.

By placing an order on our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

 

2. Orders

When you place an order with us:

  • You are making an offer to purchase a specific soft toy listed on our website

  • Your order is only confirmed once you receive an order confirmation email

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if a product becomes unavailable or if there is an issue with payment

Because many of our soft toys are one-of-a-kind, availability is limited to the specific item shown.

 

3. Products & Condition

All soft toys sold by Soft Toy Sanctuary are previously loved and rescued items.

As such:

  • items may show signs of age, wear, or repair

  • each toy is unique and may differ slightly from photos

  • condition is described as accurately as possible in each listing

Where a toy is listed as a collector or display item (Retired resident) it is not intended for unsupervised child play.

 

4. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed in GBP (£)

  • Payment is required in full at the time of purchase

  • We use secure third-party payment providers (such as Wix Payments, PayPal, or similar)

  • We do not store full payment card details

We reserve the right to update prices at any time, but this will not affect orders already placed.

 

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • Orders will be dispatched within the timeframe stated on the product page or website

  • Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on postal services

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by courier services or external factors once the item has been dispatched

Shipping costs (if applicable) will be clearly shown at checkout.

 

6. Returns & Refunds

Due to the unique nature of our products:

  • Returns are accepted in accordance with UK consumer law (typically within 14 days for online purchases)

  • Items must be returned in the same condition they were received

  • Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty or incorrect

Refunds (if approved) will be processed back to the original payment method.

Some items marked as collector or display items may be non-returnable if clearly stated in the listing, unless faulty.

 

7. Safety & Suitability

All soft toys are assessed before listing and described honestly based on their condition.

  • Some toys are suitable for child play

  • Some toys are intended for collecting or display only

  • Suitability will always be clearly stated in each listing

Customers are responsible for ensuring toys are used appropriately once received.

Please supervise young children when playing with soft toys and regularly check items for wear and tear.

 

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including:

  • product descriptions

  • teddy names and backstories

  • images

  • branding and logo

is owned by Soft Toy Sanctuary and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without permission.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

We take care to describe and assess each item accurately, but:

  • we cannot guarantee that every detail will remain unchanged after purchase

  • we are not liable for misuse of products after delivery

  • we are not responsible for injuries or damages arising from improper use of items

This does not affect your statutory rights.
